All you need to know about South Africa World Cup squad - ICC World Cup 2019

In the 15-member South African team, right-handed batsman Hashim Amla was announced on Thursday for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Amla has been a skilled player for the South African team because he has scored almost 8000 runs in an ODI format with an average of only 49.75. But the batsman has been struggling for form for the last one year. He is disturbed by the incompatibility, but his experience was difficult for the selectors.

The inclusion of the staff meant that Rhea Hendrik was to be out of the fifteen-member team. The 29-year-old Hendrik had established himself as a potential substitute for the staff after the spectacular start of his ODI career.

Aiden Markram has also been included in the World Cup 2019 squad and as a result, the team has now three solid opening options (Quinton de Kock, Aiden Markram, Hashim Amla).
